High Five Tour Stop #19: Asheville, NC
Horse Power!
This time we were heading to Asheville, NC. Though this stop was not on the original plan, we were invited by the Asheville Blue Ridge Mustang Club to join them on the Biltmore Estate. Their plan was to bring us into the estate as their main attraction.
We met up with Joe and a few of their members at a nearby Harley Dealership. They greeted us and then we were off with a police and 2 mustang escort onto the Biltmore Estate.
The estate grounds were absolutely gorgeous. Driving through them felt like we were going through the Irish Countryside or Middle Earth. Our escort brought us to a large lot in front of the Biltmore Mansion where we met up with 25 to 30 other mustangs for a photo shoot and to give out some high fives. Local news was in the area covering the event and everyone was really excited for us to be there. We felt like family.
We wanted to stay here longer but we knew we had to head on. Before we left the Mustang Club had one more surprise in store for us. The entire club about 30 cars in total escorted us out onto the high way and gave us a fantastic send off.
Both the Colonel and I would like to thank Joe and the entire Blue Ridge Mustang club for their support and hospitality. It was truly an honor to be part of this event and we are grateful for the invitation to join up with them. The Colonel has been invited back for a much larger event during Labor Day of this year and he is excited to return.
