High Five Tour Stop #23: San Antonio, TX
Supporting Our Troops
We started off our day in Texas at the Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio. Not only were we giving out high fives but we had some special books to drop off for the soldiers currently in the center. These books had been filled with messages of hope and support by people all over America. One of the great function of Wounded Warriors Family Support is to make sure these messages get to our wounded warriors and their families. We met with the programs director for the Family Support Center at Brooke and gave him the books along with some t-shirts and information on the organization to pass out to the wounded veterans who may like to use the organizations facilities.
